ABSTRACT :
This study provides a comprehensive review of contemporary scientific literature on fluoride toxicity, examining the pathological effects of sodium fluoride exposure in zebrafish and its significance as a model organism in toxicological and biomedical research. As a well-established experimental model, zebrafish offer significant advantages in studying fluoride-induced toxicity, facilitating the evaluation of its impact on key biological processes, including development, behaviour, organ function, and molecular signalling pathways. Experimental investigations using zebrafish provide critical insights into the cellular and systemic mechanisms underlying fluoride toxicity, contributing to a deeper understanding of its physiological and pathological implications.
