ABSTRACT :
The zebrafish (Danio rerio) is an important experimental model in biomedical research, due to its genetic and physiological similarities with mammals, including humans. It is used to investigate the molecular and physiological mechanisms of various ailments, including digestive disorders. Recently, probiotics have become of interest due to their ability to positively influence the gut microbiome and digestive health. This study explores zebrafish as a model for evaluating probiotic effects on the digestive tract, with the aim of better understanding the mechanisms by which probiotics contribute to digestive health and how they can be applied for the prevention and treatment of digestive disorders in humans. The study provides valuable insight into the potential of probiotics to improve gut health and combat gastrointestinal disorders.
