ABSTRACT :

The choice of the title of the work Emotional Intelligence and Professional Success is justified by the current debates on this theme, which are motivated by the increasingly complex transformations in the field of professions and occupations, and implicitly, in industrial, agricultural, and service-related activities. The number of professional profiles has increased quantitatively and qualitatively, along with the rise in adaptive failure risks in the field of lucrative activities. Almost 100 years ago, the great Hungarian psychiatrist Leopold Szondi stated that the major decisions in life are those regarding the choice of profession and marriage. He also said that people can be characterized by the way they make these two choices. We do not intend to contradict the well-known unorthodox Hungarian psychoanalyst, but since then, the situation regarding professional choices has become increasingly complicated.
