ABSTRACT :

Zebrafish, a powerful model in biomedical research, offer unique advantages such as genetic similarity to humans, ease of genetic manipulation, and rapid development. They are extensively used to study various human diseases and genetic disorders. Despite limitations like differences in organ systems and metabolic pathways, zebrafish remain invaluable for research due to ongoing advancements in molecular techniques and to the creation of new transgenic lines. Their role in understanding human diseases and developing therapeutic strategies is pivotal
in biomedical research.
