ABSTRACT :
The present paper presents the analogies between the biological and the artificial neuron. Considering the way artificial neural networks operate as models of neurons connected by means of adjustable synapses, we aim to make a probabilistic model in order to simulate a volleyball championship capable of predicting the results of the matches and the winner of the cup.
